Update on GSP Ramp Closure - Fall 2024

Around the September 2024 timeframe, Sanzari will begin construction work on the bridges where the Garden State Parkway (GSP) goes over Grand Ave and Summit Ave in Montvale.  The south bound entrance to the GSP (from Grand Ave) will be CLOSED for a long duration. There will be detours set up, and southbound traffic will need to access the GSP in Woodcliff Lake or Washington Township. During this time, there will also be lane closures on Grand and Summit. This will obviously cause an increase in traffic in the area but this work must be done to ensure the safety of the bridges that go over Grand and Summit.  During the construction work, residents will be encouraged to avoid the area or use mass transit if possible.  The project has been APPROVED AND AWARDED by the NJ Turnpike Authority, and preparations are already underway.
