Hometown Heroes Banner Program

The Borough of Park Ridge is proud to announce the launch of the Hometown Heroes Banner Program. This program is a living tribute meant to honor Park Ridge residents and former residents who have served or are currently serving in any branch of the military.
The banners will be double-sided, 24” x 48” vinyl, and displayed in proscribed periods for at least two years as long as the banners are in proper condition as determined by the Director of Operations, whichever is more. Banners applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis with a deadline of submission by September 15, 2023. Each banner will include a photo of the soldier in uniform, along with their name, branch, dates of service, conflict, rank, and any medals or accommodations. The name of the banner sponsor will be displayed at the bottom of the banner. A sponsorship of $100 is required for each submission, the Borough will match the funds to purchase the brackets and installation.
