Leaf Collection Update – 11/15/19

As of Friday, November 15th, the loader crew has completed a third pass through the Borough and is currently working in Zone 1 on the West side. On Monday, November 18th, the loader crew will continue working in zone 1 and continue to zones 2 through 5. Once the west side is complete, the loader crew will start another pass on the east side.

Holiday Craft Time - December 14

Do you need a 3 hour break from the kids to shop, cook  or wrap for the holidays?

Park Ridge Recreation and Cultural Committee presents Holiday Craft Time on Saturday, December 14  from 130-430 pm for  grades K-5 in the Community Center, (next to the Library.)  Kids in grades K-5 will make holiday crafts/gifts to give away or keep as family treasures for years to come! Register in Borough  Hall by 12/09.  Cost is $30.00 for first child and $20.00 for each additional sibling -supplies and snacks supplied.  Call 201-573-1800 X 521 for more info!

Information on the Park Ridge Leaf Removal Operations

The Park Ridge Department of Public Works (DPW) has begun the 2019 fall curbside leaf collection.  The crew will be working every day throughout the fall to pick up and transport over 2,800 tons of the leaves to a recycling facility located in Orangeburg New York.  This is a major undertaking that is done each year with a relatively small crew of DPW employees.

The Bergen County Utilities Authority has scheduled a mobile on-site paper shredding event for Saturday October 12, from 9:00AM to 1:00PM on Sulak Lane.

Tri-Boro Food Pantry

The Tri Boro Food Pantry is busy preparing for our Thanksgiving dinner distribution on November 24. If you know anyone who could use an uncooked holiday meal please invite them to join us from 2 to 4 PM.

This month we would be very grateful for: pasta, canned soup or vegetables and cold cereal!
