2nd Quarter 2022 Repeat Public Notice for PFOA MCL Exceedance from December 2021 Wells 12, 14, 18

You are receiving this letter as a requirement of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Tier 2 Public notice regulation. Customers were informed that three of our groundwater wells exceeded the MCL for PFOAs in November 2021. Additionally, customers were informed that these wells have not been in service since that time. Even though these wells are not in service, the NJDEP requires us to send this public notice to all of our water customers every 3 months until permanent treatment for PFOAs is installed at these wells 12, 14, 18 and the water system has returned into compliance with the MCL. This is a repeat notification.
