May 8th Learn how to help kids with symptoms of anxiety, depression or other mental health conditions through YMHFA training
Would you like to be better equipped to assist a child with anxiety, depression, or another mental health condition? Would you like to know how to help a child in the moment, while they are experiencing symptoms related to mental health and better understand how/where to get support? Well, you can! For FREE! With 1 in 5 children having a diagnosable mental health condition, this is something that affects all of us and is of the upmost importance. Anyone who has children or works with children, should to seriously consider this opportunity. Park Ridge Stigma-Free is offering a FREE ($150 value) nationally certified Youth Mental Health First Aid training on May 8th from 9 AM – 5 PM at the Park Ridge Community Center. An additional training is being offered in Paramus on May 2nd from 9 AM – 5 PM, for anyone interested who cannot make the May 8th training. This is a special occasion, as this is the first time this course is being offered for free. A free lunch will also be provided.
