Over the past 72 hours we have been monitoring both a low pressure system and Hurricane Joaquin. As of this morning (October 2, 2015) it is forecasted that Hurricane Joaquin will not have any significant impact on Northern New Jersey. We will continue to monitor the weather system over the next few days.
Despite the indications that Hurricane Joaquin is tracking out to sea, the Borough of Park Ridge and the Park Ridge Office of Emergency Management have been making preparations for a potential impact from Joaquin and will continue to maintain preparations.
While we don't anticipate any significant weather impacts, below we have listed important numbers in the case of power outages or other weather related issues. We will provide updates if there are any changes:
For Power Outages Dial the Following Numbers (non-emergency situations)
During regular business hours (8:00am-4:30pm): 201-573-1800
After business hours: 201-391-5400
As always, for emergency situations, please dial 9-11.
