As of Wednesday, November 26th, the loader crew had completed the fourth pass in Zones 1, 2 and 3. On Monday, December 1st, the loader crew will continue into zone 4. Once the crew completes zone 4, they will continue into zone 5. Once they complete zone 5 they will move to the east side, starting in zone 6.
In addition to the loader crew, the leaf vacuum crew has completed the west side main roads. On Monday, December 1st, the leaf vacuum crew will begin working on the east side main roads.
The volume of leaves has increased resulting in longer time to complete each zone. Residents are asked to please be patient during this phase of the operation and understand we are moving as fast as we can to get through each zone.
Please be advised that the last pass on every street will begin on December 8th. If leaves are placed on the street and the DPW has already passed by your street, they will not be picked up. However, they can still be brought to the Park Ridge Recycling Center.
