The Borough has set up a dedicated outgoing line for information
You may dial it directly - 201-573-4058
10/29/2012 - 11:30 am
As you know the current storm has the potential for widespread power failure, damage from falling trees and flooding. We urge you to stay sheltered in your homes and off the streets.
If you are required to evacuate your home, you will be notified by the Park Ridge Police or their representatives.
If you believe your home is compromised and your safety, health or security is at risk, you have the following options:
- Go to a friend, relative or local hotel
- Go to a county shelter. They are:
o Bergen County Community College in Paramus which is pet friendly and can accommodate special needs. It is located at 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ
o Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest at 162 Knickerbocker Road,
o Senior Center in Lyndhurst at 250 Cleveland Avenue
If you haven’t already done so, please pack a 'go' bag now in case of the need to quickly abandon your home. Be sure to include important documents, flashlight, clothing, medications and other essentials for a few days. If you are bringing a pet bring a crate and all required documentation regarding required inoculations, e.g., rabies, etc.
In the case of a true emergency dial 911.
Other numbers are available for information and reporting purposes, but due to the expected high volume of calls, we ask for your patience and understanding.
