Due to the tremendous amount of branches that fell down during the October 29 snow storm, the Park Ridge Road Department has temporarily discontinued the leaf removal operation in order to begin removing branches. Please understand that there is a very heavy volume of branches and it will take several weeks before we finish a pass of the entire town.
We are in the process of hiring a contractor to assist with the removal of branches so we can get back to leaf removal. We feel we should be able to hire a contractor to start within the next couple of weeks at which point the Road Department can get back to the leaf removal operation.
We ask that the residents please be patient this year due to these circumstances. Please keep the branches separate from the leaves as we cannot pick them up if they are mixed. Branches can be cut to approximately eight (8) foot lengths and placed on the lawn by the curb. Please do not place the branches in the road.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call Borough Hall at 201-573-1800. Thank you for your cooperation.
